Marv and the Mega Robot by Alex Falase-Koya & Paula Bowles

If you could have any super power, what would it be?

When Marvin and his best friend, Joe, spot a familiar face in an old superhero comic when they take a break from working on their Science Fair robot, he asks his grandad if he knows anything about the man with the M on his super-suit.

Dusting off an old suitcase, Marvin uncovers a secret about his family he never knew. Grandad was Marv, a superhero who protected the streets and saved people from harm! Trying on the huge suit, it immediately shrinks to his size as if it were made just for him. All super heroes know that wearing such a suit brings great responsibility and Marv is definitely up for the challenge as he learns that kindness and imagination are all that’s needed for his new powers to work.

When the evil villain, Mastermind, and her destructive mega robot capture Joe, Marv needs to be the bravest he’s ever been and save the day!

Join Marv in Alex Falase-Koya’s fantastic series for younger readers, as he takes on mega robots, pools of peril and dinosaur skeletons! Beautifully illustrated by Paula Bowles, this fun and heart-warming story is about super powers, self-belief and being the best friend you can be.

Further books in the series are out now – ‘Marv and the Dino Attack’ & ‘Marv and the Pool of Peril’!
