Sunday Chutney is the most wonderful character who embodies so much. She’s also another young protagonist who just happens to wear glasses, love it!
Sunday Chutney introduces herself to her readers. She travels. A lot. This means that she is always ‘the new kid’ at school.
Sunday is determined to handle this all in her own way, with oodles of positivity and quirkiness. She does, afterall, have ‘an excellent imagination.’
Sunday takes us through her likes (big breakfasts) and dislikes (grumps and bullies). She introduces us to her dreams, aspirations and her love of travelling which she finds to be ‘wonderfully glamorous’.
Aaron Blabey’s unique illustrations capture the lively Sunday with humour and fondness. This is a character who has much to teach her readers, in a light hearted and positive manner.
