With Nan

With Nan from Tania Cox

With Nan from Tania Cox is a glorious picture book that celebrates finding joy in the simple things.

If you love encouraging your little ones to be mindful, slow down, and use their imaginations then you are going to adore With Nan.

Nan and Simon go for a walk, mindful of Nan’s opening words of wisdom,

‘There are some things that aren’t always what they seem.’

You see if you look close enough you’ll see that isn’t really a rock … it’s actually a crab hidden in a rock pool.

Taking inspiration from nature, and a lovely cute ending, Tania Cox has created a warm picture book.

Karen Blair’s wonderfully rendered pencil drawings and Tania Cox’s small level of simple text on each page combine to create a picture book which is great to read to very young listeners.

With Nan was shortlisted for the CBCA 2013 awards
