The Turtle who Turned the Tide by Rachel Bright, Illustrated by Jim Field

The race to the sea is on. As the other creatures watch they cheer on the hatchlings. Surely Tula will be the first to reach the water!

She’s getting so close until she looks behind. Oh no! Tiny has gone the wrong way.

What should Tula do? Will she keep going and save herself?

This is a fabulous book to read aloud!

‘A WOBBLE. A WIBBLE. A CHIRRUP up top.

A synchronised hatching began, with a …

POP!’

What a great way to show that size is not important and how actions speak so much louder than words. It is truly in praise of kindness, courageousness, teamwork and hope.

The illustrations by Jim Field had me laughing out loud at the monkeys and parrots, worried about the hissing snake, and rooting for the adorable Tula and Tiny.

Light and bright, the truly dark ‘all is lost’ moment and the stunning colour combinations make this picture book one you’ll want to read again and again.

Another wonderful book from the team who brought us The Koala Who Could, The Lion Inside and many more.

Now out in paperback!
