Definitely No Ducks!, the sequel to Duck For A Day, is proving very popular here at My Book Corner.
It is a great book for those who are new to chapter books, and makes perfect bedtime reading fodder for little listeners.
Definitely No Ducks sees the return of Abby and Noah’s favourite teacher. The quirky Mrs Melvino, her very jingly earrings, and her pet duck Max are all on hand as her class prepare for the biggest assembly in the history of assemblies.

Meg McKinlay’s plot develops at a steady pace with a few twists and turns, making it an engrossing storyline for her readers.
You’ll know that Noah was one of my favourite characters from the prequel, Duck For A Day. I adore how McKinlay has developed his character in Definitely No Ducks! I was cheering him all the way!
The school environment makes this a perfect book for young readers. My Book Corner found it thoroughly enjoyable – you’ll love it!
