Pig The Pug

Pig The PugPig the Pug is a rollickingly great picture book from the reliably creative hands of Aaron Blabey.

‘Pig was a pug and

I’m sorry to say,

he was greedy and selfish

in most every way.’

With faultless rhythm and rhyme, Blabey tells the story of this grumbling pug. He absolutely refuses to share his huge stash of toys with his flatmate Trevor (a sausage dog, in case you were wondering). When Pig looses his rag (or wig!), well … let’s just say he learns a lesson or two.

Blabey has created a brilliant character in Pig – determined and oh so stubborn. Blabey’s illustrations are a delight as always. Vibrant and expressive they inject yet more humour in to a giggle filled narrative.
