Emma loves imagining other worlds and spent much of her childhood hiding in wardrobes trying to find Narnia. She wrote a diary every day from the age of 12 to 20 before crafting novels from all that angst and inspiration.

After university, she travelled the world experiencing everything from climbing Mayan jungle ruins to meeting witch doctors in Thailand’s misty mountains before embarking on her next adventure: having children.

She enjoys reading and writing middle grade, still searching for another Narnia. At present, her first novel ‘Otto Vintage and the Doomquaker’, a thriller about an angel boy destined to join the celestial St Wisewings military academy, is on submission to publishers.

In her alternate life, she works with words in other ways, marketing for Technology companies.
