Well? Wouldn’t you be absolutely horrified if you found FLUFF in your belly button?! Urm …
You see Serenity Strainer is ‘perfect’ – just soooo perfect that finding such an abomination was just too dreadful,
” ‘That can’t possibly be mine!’ she said. “
Just as Serenity may have imagined, such a thing is actually quite evil … cue a fabulous illustration of the evil, eye ball popping, tongue-lolling ball of fluff on the end of her finger!
What follows are a series of fabulously quirky pages as we follow Serenity tearing around after the ‘evil fluff’ as it creates mayhem and devastation through out her house … nothing and no one gets in its way!
True to Blabey’s style The Dreadful Fluff also has a moral which is carefully and delightfully delivered in his stylish and very UN-patronising manner. His trademark illustrations are wonderfully quirky and full of humour.
Aaron Blabey is the author and illustrator of numerous children’s books including Pearl Barley & Charlie Parsely and The Ghost of Miss Annabel Spoon.
