2011!
Blimey, that’s when I first started My Book Corner. In a new country, wrestling two toddlers and unable to find work to fit in with them, somehow I decided to start reviewing books.
I had no idea where it would lead.
I’m not big on setting huge goals, I like to see where life takes me. My Book Corner whisked me on a life-changing journey into the book world, a world which gently grabbed hold of me and didn’t let me go. Over the years My Book Corner organically grew in to a wonderful team of fabulously talented reviewers.
And then. One day…
I decided to try writing my very own books, something I kept very quiet for a little while because I had no idea where that would lead. Fast forward to 2022 and I’m lucky enough to have created four books with four incredible illustrators and publishing teams.
But, back to My Book Corner. It’s been OVER ten years, gulp, and it’s been an absolute blast.
The time has come to give My Book Corner fresh direction and fresh energy. I’ll still be reviewing books, because my passion for shouting about GREAT books will always, always be there. But now is absolutely the right time to hand over My Book Corner to….
