All the Ways I Love You by Helen Docherty, Illustrated by Daniela Sosa

What is love? How can we describe it to a child?

In this delightful story, perfect for a bedtime read, Helen Docherty explores the many ways love can be shown.

Everyday life activities such as drawing, being in the garden, at a party and so on make this easily relatable for young children.

‘If you were a garden snail,

I would be your shell.

I’d shelter you from any harm

And keep you safe and well.’

The wonderful references to the natural world are illustrated beautifully by Daniela Sosa’s use of soft colours. Each scene is brought to life with warm and gentle touch.

This would be a lovely book to share, as warm and snuggly as a cosy blanket!
