You Can Never Run Out Of Love

You Can Never Run Out Of LoveYou Can Never Run Out Of Love is  a picture book written by Helen Docherty and illustrated by Ali Pye.

You Can Never Run Out Of Love is such a warm and uplifting picture book, with a beautiful heart warming message. It’s a lovely book to share with little ones. I enjoyed sharing it with my daughter, who talked about love for the rest of the day. The book certainly made an impact on her!

The rhyming text and the illustrations work well together to provide humorous examples of things you can run out of and the different types of love. The readers are reminded throughout the book of the reassuring message that

‘you can never (no never, not ever) you can never run out love.’

The illustrations by Ali Pye are bright and bold, with a limited palette of colours on each page which is really effective. The expressions on the characters convey such joy and warmth. I really like the diverse range of characters within the book reflecting that love spans different ages, different races and the love we have for our pets and animals.

The underlying message that you can’t run out of love is perfect for children who are expecting a new sibling. The book would also make a perfect gift.
