What an absolute honour to be revealing the cover of an EXTRAordinary new book to you today on My Book Corner.

How To Be Extraordinary is the  exciting picture book from debut writer Rashmi Sirdeshpande, and illustrator Annabel Tempest. It will be published by Penguin Random House on 1st August 2019.

…and here it is, ta-dah!

HowToBeExtraOrdinary

Do you adore it as much as I do?!

I adore the vibrancy of Annabel Tempest’s illustrations, and the energetic nature of the design from Steph Jones. Plus, what a glorious collection of extraordinary people gracing the front cover!

Whoever you are and whoever you want to be, read about the extraordinary stories of this fifteen people and decide how YOU will be extraordinary too!

Meet artists, scientists, musicians, activists, politicians, and even spies. Above all, discover that there are many ways to be extraordinary and to make a real difference in the world.

Rashmi Sirdeshpande is a lawyer turned children’s author with the curiosity of a 3-year-old – there are lots of WHYs and HOWs and great big moments of WONDER. When she’s not asking zillions of questions or playing with words, you’ll find her on her yoga mat twisting herself into all sorts of shapes.

Annabel Tempest always knew she wanted to grow up to be an artist. Nothing makes her more excited than a pile of paper and a seriously sharp pencil. Annabel has created many beautiful, colourful books, and she lives in the countryside with her husband in a house full of muddy boys and dogs.
