What a fabulous opening line?!
With wonderful descriptions such a ‘big grassy days’ and ‘make paper boat days’, Stephen Michael King runs through the various days of a little rabbit and his friends. Their days are filled with imagination and creativity. The bottom line … no matter what the day brings their love is, and always will be, strong and true.
The sprinkling of onomatopoeias throughout the pages, together with the scattered typography over the pages, build a great pace and rhythm to I Love You Too as the characters skip through their days.
King’s illustrations are wonderfully evocative, with the earthy tones reflecting the celebration of nature and all it has to offer a young person. Inspiration indeed.
Enjoyable and exuding warmth this is the perfect one to curl up with at bedtime.
