This truly is a must have, classic Australian book for children. A beautiful magical story about … yes, two possums … we really couldn’t let My Book Corner go on much longer with out putting this one on the shelves.
Possum Magic is the tale of two possums. One is invisible – but soon gets fed up with that! To become visible again they discover he needs to eat more food, cue a trip around Australia.
They find Vegemite sandwiches in the far north, pavlova in Perth, Anzac biscuits in Adelaide … and with each piece of food Hush gradually becomes visible again.
With plenty of dialogue and beautiful illustrations … there’s a reason why the Australian’s have such fond memories of this.
