Room on the Broom

Room on the Broom

Julia Donaldson + Axel Scheffler + witches = perfect Halloween combo!

In much the same vein as The Smartest Giant In Town, the witch in this tale sports an incredibly generous heart. However, rather than giving away her clothes, she takes pity on the various creatures she meets …. and shuffles along to give them some room on her broom. Clearly there is only so long that this can continue before they reach breaking point …

Room on the Broom has an incredibly satisfying ending reached by Julia Donaldson’s signature rhythm and rhyme which she uses to create entertaining, thoughtful stories.

Axel Scheffler’s illustrations provide much amusement and plenty to observe, ponder over and encourage you back for more.
