See for Yourself by Jordan Stephens, Illustrated by Beth Suzanna

PUBLICATION DAY REVIEW!

Harry Arco’s dad and his grandpa and his great-grandpa had all been pilots.

Is it possible for Harry to choose to do something different?

Instead of going up to explore the sky, could Harry go down to explore the deep, deep sea?

With a little help  from his Dad, Harry goes on a wonderful adventure to discover the world underneath the ocean.

A story of the bonds between father and son and how trust in one another helps to strengthen those bonds.

After reading this, I was left with a wonderful sense of calm and a huge smile.

The truly beautiful illustrations by Beth Suzanna match the gentle nature of this story perfectly.

It is not surprising  that it has been nominated for the Carnegie Medal for Illustration.

This stunning picture book would make a won

Thank you to Bloomsbury and Beatrice Cross for the review copy.
