Mattie’s great plans can sometimes go a bit awry!
Her friend Zoe is used to her madcap schemes but it all goes wrong when they become apprentices to the new vet, Dr Polly.
Discovering a puppy with a poorly leg, Mattie rescues it, naming her Luna, and brings her to Dr Polly’s rescue centre.
The problem is, there are so many animals at the centre who need to find their forever homes, that the vet cannot accept anymore animals.
Mattie, Zoe and Dr Polly’s son, Casper decide it is up to them to help the animals find new homes, but is this one of Mattie’s schemes and what will happen to Luna?

Who could resist Mattie’s kindness and care and her keen sense of right and wrong? I found myself rooting for her right from the very beginning.
Mattie, Zoe and Casper make a super team and with this being the first in a new series by the wonderful author; Katya Balen, we are promised more fabulous adventures to come.
