The Clue is in the Poo by Andy Seed & Claire Almon

clueisinthepoo

Hold your nose before you dive into this educational book, because it’s jammed full of smelly poo! Animal poo, to be precise. And, if you’re a budding nature lover, “The Clue is in the Poo” has everything you need to help you spot what animals, birds – and even dinosaurs – you’re seeing when you’re out and about.

This book is ideal to get a picnic together and go rambling along the coast or in the countryside with. It has detailed, brilliant information and excellent illustrations by Claire Almon that highlight exactly what animal poo looks like so you know if you’re hot on the trail of a fox, a badger, a hawk, a rabbit…or even a wolf!

And, if like me you’re a fossil hound, Andy Seed has put together a very handy guide on fossilised dino-poo. If you find rock hard, twisty lumps on the beach, you might have picked up some old T-Rex dung.

Aimed at the real outdoorsy kids, The Clue is in the Poo is a brilliant companion book for your summer adventures!

Our fabulous Anthony Burt will be hosting the Childrens’ Imagination Lab at  the Edinburgh International Book Festival 2019.  Each Tuesday over the summer, he’ll be highlighting a great book whose author/illustrator will be appearing at the festival. How exciting is that? Sign up to ensure you don’t miss out!  You’ve already missed: Rebel Cats, Tooth Fairy in Training  and Trapdoor Mysteries. Oops!
