Moments of calm combine with moments of chaos to make this a real page turner.
Reading this book had me laughing and smiling by the end. What an absolutely fabulous twist!
I loved the deceptive simplicity of the illustrations, the sparseness and super use of repetition in the text. The way the colour of the text matches the clothes of the speaker is so clever.
This is truly a hold your breath and wait and see, because this is ‘a there’s something wonderful about to happen’ kind of a story.
A book for all ages to enjoy.
