Nicholas Ickle, resplendent in his top hat, really wants to tell his story – doesn’t every little one? Unfortunately poor Nicholas has to contend with a variety of rude interruptions which always happen just when he is getting started.
Who let an elephant in? There are no elephants in this book – he is in the wrong book! Urm, so is the monster, pirates, queen … chaotic scenes indeed.
Encouraging prediction skills and empathy, this is a gem of a picture book with a great ending from the talented Nick Bland.
