Tisha and the Blossom by Wendy Meddour & Daniel Egnéus

TishaBlossom
What better day for me to pick this one up than Blossom Watch Day! I’m a big fan of the Japanese custom of hanami which encourages us to take time to enjoy the transience and fragility of nature, so Tisha and the Blossom was the perfect choice.

Tisha wants to look at the blossom, insects, sounds… but she’s always being told to hurry up. In this amazingly calming book with beautiful watercolour and collage illustrations, she and her parents slow down and enjoy the moment, and the little things in life.

Tisha and the Blossom is a mindful book for children and parents to escape to and slow right down.

Lovely.
