Founder of My Book Corner back in 2011, Emma Perry’s love of books grew and grew and grew until she started writing her own.
Her debut picture book – I Don’t Like Books. Never. Ever. The End. illustrated by Sharon Davey – sold to 11 territories & was published by David Fickling Books in the UK, February 2020.
Her second book, This Book Has Alpacas and Bears, illustrated by Rikin Parekh, was published June 2020.
After two book about… books she stepped outside for her next two. Puddling! illustrated by Claire Alexander, plus Know it Owl illustrated by Andrea Stegmaier.

Emma Perry now lives in Bath, UK, but prior to that, she spent a lovely five years in Melbourne, Australia. Emma has been obsessed with books for as long as she can remember.
A graduate of English Literature, a teacher and organiser of International Book Giving Day, she adores being constantly surrounded by them – but fears for her safety should those tottering piles of books ever fall over.
