We Were Liars

We Were Liars

We Were Liars by E Lockhart is an intriguing, roller coaster of a novel. Aimed at the YA audience, adults are going to be talking about this one for quite sometime to come too.

I refuse can’t give away too much detail here, it’s one of those books that should open with little knowledge of its contents. Don’tread anything about this book. Just get it. Read it. Then come back to me …

Just very, very briefly …

We Were Liars is told from the point of view of Cadence. She lives a privileged life. Every summer her entire family escape to an entire island. Pure bliss.

However there are those headaches. Those crippling migraines…

‘It is true I suffer migraines since my accident.’

What accident??

The writing has a poetic quality that grips the reader. It flows. Just flows.
